Important Vitamin Values

€ 68.00

Our endurance is at risk if we do not get enough vitamins. Vitamins affect, for example, our energy levels and metabolism. Ensure your vitamins counts are at a healthy level and that you have enough energy to handle everyday challenges.

The LOUNA Important Vitamin Values laboratory package has been designed to examine your three most important vitamin counts: vitamin D, vitamin B12, and folate. In addition to your energy levels and metabolism, the vitamins in question affect, for example, your immune system and nervous system function, memory, and cell growth. If your values are too low, in most cases you will be able to fix them with the right diet or vitamin supplements, because vitamins are obtained mainly from food. The results of the package can, therefore, be used to evaluate your diet.

Vitamin D is an exception, as only a small portion of foods contain enough vitamin D. The most important source of vitamin D is the sun. Adequate intake of vitamin D has been much debated in recent years, as vitamin D deficiency has been found to be associated with a number of diseases, including diabetes, cancer, circulatory diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Vitamin B12 and folate are included in the package because their deficiency is common – especially in older people and those who follow a vegan diet.

The LOUNA Important Vitamin Values package is ideal for both one-off and regular monitoring. If you want to find out more about your trace element counts, we recommend the test package that combines the examination of Trace Elements and Important Vitamins. Vitamins

Folate affects the well-being of the brain and cells. Folate is water-soluble vitamin B9 that is obtained from food and produced by gut microbes.

Vitamin B12 is needed in the production of red blood cells and the functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin D is essential to people. Almost all tissue needs it, in addition to which vitamin D is required for the absorption of calcium and phosphate.
